I first picked up a camera because of my love for travel and hiking in the Lake District — I simply wanted to document the places I was seeing. Over the last 10 years, that curiosity evolved into something much deeper: a way of seeing the world, connecting with people, and expressing creativity.
When lockdown hit in 2020 and all travel ground to a halt, something unexpected happened. Friends and family started asking, “Leigh, you’ve got a decent camera… would you mind taking some photos?” — whether it was for weddings, businesses, or corporate headshots. So I did. And I quickly fell in love with photographing people.
From there, I threw myself into learning the craft – from lighting and composition to editing and creative direction. What began as a favour quickly grew into something more intentional. After October 2024, I decided to fully explore this venture and see where it could take me.
Today, I specialise in headshots, portraits, and product photography — helping individuals and businesses across Northamptonshire (including Kettering, Thrapston, Wellingborough and Corby) to elevate how they show up online and in print. Whether it’s updating your LinkedIn profile, refreshing your brand visuals, or building out a professional model or actor portfolio, photography is how I get to contribute, create, and help you stand out.
